Develop and support insurance policy admin applications, collaborate with business and QA teams, and mentor developers. | 8+ years SQL, VBScript, Javascript, ETL/SSIS experience, insurance domain knowledge, Agile methodology, and familiarity with multiple legacy and modern tools. | Senior SQL Developer / Systems Analyst Location: Chicago, Illinois/Remote Summary: Seeking a highly motivated individual who possesses strong technical and analytical skills, with an understanding of the wholesale brokerage insurance industry preferred. The individual will be senior developer/system analyst and is expected to work with business to understand requirements and support application, work with Business Analyst and QE team to ensure quality solution delivery. Effective collaboration with the business users and various stakeholders is required. Serves as mentor, advisor and guide to the team of developers. Required Skills • Familiarity with a variety of both legacy and modern Policy Admin platforms. • P&C experience (preferably in Specialty Insurance). • Hands on SQL, VBScript and Javascript experience 8+ years. • Experience in ETL and SSIS packages and workflow/automation creation. • Experience in with Documaker, Rackley, Infomaker, PowerBuilder, Retool, GoAnywhere, Redgate Tools, Git. • Knowledge of ConceptOne, AIM and ImageRight will be preferred. • Solid experience working in Agile environment. Both Scrum and Kanban. • Hands on experience with Jira, Confluence, Service Now, ITIL tools and process framework. • Solid Understanding of Web applications, cloud managed services, service-oriented architecture (SOA) solutions, microservices, containers, API development and managed databases. • Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team. • Nice to have Cloud experience, Azure Cloud, Google Cloud Platform.
