Leading replenishment and procurement teams, managing inventory and forecasting, and developing SOPs. | Extensive experience in supply chain, procurement, and team management, with skills in forecasting, vendor relations, and process improvement. | JOB TITLE: Warehouse Coordinator SUPERVISED BY: Operations Manager Position Summary To coordinate and facilitate daily operational activity with supervisors, drivers and administrators to ensure customer (internal & external) satisfaction while supporting the Operations Manager Duties And Responsibilities • Coordinate incoming and outgoing inventory deliveries with supervisors. • Separate work orders, mults, pickers and shippers, correctly and accurately. • Coordinate pickups with drivers to ensure they have the proper paperwork and pickup information. • Accurately route shipping paperwork into the correct routing bins to ensure efficient delivery schedules • Accurately complete paperwork and documentation necessary to receive, ship and stock material. • Communicate with sales on any order issues during the printing process. • Communicate any delivery issues with Ops Mgr and sales team • Is a resource for communication, training, safety, human resources, mechanical issues, customer service, etc for all warehouse staff • Ensure all shipping counts, quality reports, work orders and shippers completed accurately prior to submission to branch administrators. • Create nightly truck logs for all next day deliveries and outside carriers • Coordinate all customer returns and credits. • Performs other duties as related or assigned to benefit the company. • Performs additional duties as assigned. • Excellent attendance is an essential function of this job. Education And Experience High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of 5 years' experience with warehousing, production, proficient in computer applications, familiar with inventory scanners and leadership responsibilities. JOB TITLE: Safety Manager POSITION SUMMARY: Insures all employees of Benjamin Steel have a healthy, safe, and comfortable working environment. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Conducts accident investigations, maintains documentation and makes recommendations to ensure Benjamin Steel complies with all state and federal safety requirements. Oversees all Operational and Safety programs and training across the company to include development, instruction, assessment and documentation. Responsible for all OSHA and DOT administration, compliance, training and investigation. Coordinates all parts of Workers' Compensation administration to ensure accurate ratings, benefits, and compliance. Supervises Safety and Training Technicians and provides those duties for the Springfield branch. Work involves most of the following: verifying materials against receiving and shipping documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages; routing material to prescribed storage locations by proper methods to protect material and employee safety; rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials; examine stored materials and reporting deterioration and damages; removing material from storage and preparing it for shipment. May operate various equipment to stage, locate or process material for shipment. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: · Accurately locate and identify stock for storage and retrieval using scanner when appropriate. · Safely operate related machinery and equipment. · Properly identify, scan and process paperwork necessary for material handling. · Correctly load and unload trucks and verify load with delivery tickets and scanner. · Properly tag, band, and package material for shipment. · Maintain a clean and safe work area. · Always be helpful and courteous to all customers and employees. · Perform other duties as related or assigned for the benefit of the Company. · Good attendance is an essential function of this job. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or GED. Previous shipping and receiving experience helpful. Overhead crane and forklift experience preferred. Must be able to read a tape measure. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Ability to work as a team member without close supervision to meet Company and personal goals. Capable of reading a tape measure, calipers, and orders.
