Product Owner (Space Team) Description A long time ago in a galaxy not so far away… Beast Code set out to revolutionize defense and space solutions. Now, we’re looking for a well-experienced Product Owner (PO) to help steer our next generation of software solutions to modernize Spaceport launch operations for the U.S Space Force. This position directly supports our Space Team, and the ideal candidate will have experience leading Software Engineering and familiar with DevOps and Cyber. Like a seasoned Rebel Alliance strategist, you’ll guide our developer team, ensuring projects stay on course, meet the mission objectives, and reach their deployed destinations successfully. As a Product Owner, your primary role is to maximize the value of the product by organizing and managing the work of the software development team. This means keeping the Product Backlog organized, prioritized, and up to date. Previous experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and GitLab are highly desirable. But let’s be clear: this is no position for an Imperial micromanager. We need a big-picture thinker – a macro-manager who empowers the team while ensuring alignment between business objectives, development progress, and customer needs. You’ll be the primary communicator between the business, the development team, and our clients.
