Responsibilities As a Controls and SCADA Engineer in the Electrical, Data and Controls Section in the Operations and Test Department, you will: • Design and implement SCADA-based control systems using platforms such as Ignition for real-time monitoring and control of test environments • Integrate SQL-based time-series and transactional databases with SCADA systems for data logging and analysis • Troubleshoot and maintain existing Thermal/ Vacuum Chamber measurement and instrumentation systems • Program and troubleshoot Allen-Bradley PLCs for automation and control of thermal/vacuum chamber systems • Integrate Data Acquisition systems into SCADA platform • Perform system checkouts, instrumentation calibration, and documentation in support of NASA test operations • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure systems meet technical, safety, and mission requirements • Perform other duties as required Qualifications This position is posted at multiple levels.
