WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: • Every aspect of the successful operation of 2 to 3 AT&T Retail locations. • Fosters a culture of winning • Lives the organization’s core values • Positively contributes to a fun and friendly work environment for our customers and employees. • Leads by example. • Consistently meets or exceeds sales and customer service expectations in each location. • Consistently meets or exceeds operational standards minimizing or eliminating losses to the company in each location. • Creates a maniacal focus on sales and sales generating activities every day in each location. • Conducts a minimum of 4 highly effective store visits per location per month, including visits in the evening and on weekends, and provides detailed recaps of each visit to store Manager/ASM and company leadership. • Actively manages and is responsible for the recruiting and staffing for all positions in their market. • Conducts monthly 1 on 1s with Store Managers and ASMs to review store performance and create action plans for improvement. • Conducts regular conference calls, training's, and meetings to foster knowledge and best practice sharing. • Maintains and consistently communicates store performance metrics recognizing top performances. • Supports organization B2B, FirstNet, & MDU efforts • Communicates effectively and professionally via phone and email with customers, partners, and co-workers. • Upholds and partners with HR to enforce all company and AT&T policies and procedures. • Conducts a monthly New Hire Sales Training that effectively delivers the defined MWT Sales Behaviors. • Collaborate with internal and external partners to plan and execute local events and promotions consistent with MWT and AT&T marketing initiatives and branding. • Ensures all store personnel are trained on and are following all policies and procedures. • Resolves customer issues. • Delivers a clean, organized, and fully operational retail experience for all customers and employees. • Meets all AT&T compliance and merchandising requirements in all locations always. • Proactively reviews reporting to identify potential risks and takes appropriate action. • Maintains a positive effective relationship with co-workers, vendors and partners. • Works nights and weekends. • Travels as necessary. • Other duties as assigned. THINGS WE NEED YOU TO HAVE: • Education Required: HS Diploma, BA or BS preferred in a related field or equivalent experience. • Five or more year's successful sales experience with 2+ years Wireless Retail Store Manager experience. • AT&T sales management experience preferred but not required. • 1+ year retail multi-unit store responsibility. • Demonstrated successful development and promotion of sales consultants to store managers. • Demonstrated high ethical and moral behavior, unquestionable integrity and character. • Demonstrated success directing training and development activities of a sales team. • Demonstrated success in staffing stores with high quality, high potential candidates. • Experience utilizing a behavioral based selection processes for store level staffing. • Demonstrated success managing store-based marketing initiatives. • Experience with consistent delivery of merchandising and store sales promotions. • Effective communication & organizational skills. • Displayed elevated level of emotional intelligence. • Strong knowledge of common business applications (Web browsers, Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, etc.). • Excellent knowledge of all aspects of store operations to facilitate training of team members. • Mature professional with a good balance of risk taking and judgment, confidence and assertiveness, open-minded and flexible - who demonstrates a "take charge" spirit. • Ability to work 50+ hours per week, including evenings, weekends and/or holidays. • Valid Driver's License & Proof of Liability Insurance QUALITIES OF PEOPLE WHO’VE SUCCEEDED IN THIS ROLE: • Emotional Capacity: The ability to understand your emotions and the emotions of others and deal with them in a responsible and mature manner. • Intellectual Capacity: The ability to analyze issues in a logical manner then quickly resolve them; process complex information and explain it in the simplest terms. • Time Capacity: Be on-time, be able to dedicate the necessary amount of time to complete the job and use your time wisely and efficiently. • Physical Capacity: The ability to work 40+ hours each week consistently, to travel to events, setup and teardown, stand on your feet all day, etc. • *Compensation calculation is based on average to above average target attainments.
