We currently serve more than 700 partners in 29 counties across metro Atlanta and north Georgia. About the Role: Warehouse Associate I are responsible for receiving, put away and lift truck operation. They must provide effective and safe operation of all warehouse equipment, as well as maintain a clean, safe work environment. Warehouse Associates contribute additional work as deemed necessary and appropriate by Food Bank management. What You’ll Do: Warehousing: Ensures accurate warehouse inventory in all staging and storage areas, including Ambient, Refrigerated and Freezer locations Utilizes Warehouse Management System (WMS) for product placement and/or picking in the Ambient, Refrigerated, and/or Freezer areas Verifies and accurately records product counts, weight, or other measurement units on all product being received, stored, picked, or fulfilled Ensures all physical product movements are appropriately recorded in electronic WWMS and/or other tracking system(s) and documentation Properly utilizes First in First out (FIFO) procedures Food & Warehouse Safety: Maintains Food Safety and Housekeeping requirements in all warehouse operations Ensures proper storage temperatures and conditions are maintained, tracked and recorded Keeps all floor areas organized, free of debris, water or other potential contaminants or hazards Follows Personnel Safety procedures Inspects warehouse equipment for proper and safe operation prior to using Wears and utilizes all required PPE and safety equipment / tools Performs other duties as assigned Key Competencies we look for in All our Food Bankers are: Customer Focus Decision Making Accountability The Ability to Navigate Change If you’re excited about this role and can clearly demonstrate these and the other skills named below, we encourage you to apply. Where You’ll Work: Logistics / Supply Chain About the Role: The Receiving Clerks are responsible for conducting visual inspection of inbound products, verifying BOL counts, and receiving all inbound products into ACFB’s WMS. Receiving Clerks must prioritize safety throughout the warehouse and when operating warehouse equipment. They must also maintain a safe and clean work environment. Receiving Clerks conduct additional work as warehouse demands deem necessary and appropriated by ACFB management. This position reports to the Supervisor, Operations. What You will Do: Warehousing Provide support to Operations team by receiving all inbound products into the warehouse management systems (Netsuite & WAERlinx) Properly label all inbound deliveries and allocate them to their designated bin location, zone and category Verify the accuracy of all shipping and receiving documentation (bills of lading, invoices, inspection reports etc.) track the movement of incoming product Confirm the accuracy of counts, weights, and/or other measurements of all inventories received and/or shipped. Communicate discrepancies to immediate supervisor for a resolution. Collaborate and communicate with internal departments to ensure all products received are of the highest quality and ACFB standard. Document differences in inventory count and any material damages to incoming products. File and submit daily reports to the State of Georgia.
