Senior analyst hires will lead client analytics and present findings. What You’ll Do Design and execute empirical research on Medicare & Medicaid topics (from methodology to code to client-ready presentations). Build, QC, and automate datasets and models; turn results into clear stories for clients and internal stakeholders. Prototype creative solutions to technical problems (data linkage, feature engineering, performance, reproducibility). Translate complex analyses into clear narratives and executive-ready exhibits (PowerPoint/Excel), present to client leadership. Collaborate across ATI teams to align methods and deliver high levels of efficiency and ownership. Lead client-facing analytics and set technical direction. Review code, establish standards, mentor other team members, and foster a high quality, high support culture What You'll Bring Senior analysts require 5+ years applied analytics (or 3+ with an advanced degree) in healthcare, public policy, or adjacent fields. Hands-on R programming for data wrangling, analysis, and reproducible workflows. Financial modeling in Excel (structured models drawing from novel data analyses and academic literature). Data visualization in the Microsoft Office suite (clear, executive-ready products). Strong client communication: Ability to independently scope research, manage deadlines, and communicate complex findings simply. Growth mindset for tools: willingness to learn and use SAS, Python, and JavaScript for innovation projects. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of healthcare provider strategy and client delivery and who is motivated by the opportunity to influence how the health system serves people with complex needs. What You’ll Do • Partner with senior leaders on client engagements spanning value-based care, healthcare provider systems, and Medicare/Medicaid policy. • Apply critical thinking and creativity to complex problems in data, policy, and strategy. • Conduct rigorous qualitative and quantitative research, synthesizing findings into actionable insights for clients. • Analyze legislation, regulations, and policies (e.g., Medicare payment rules, PACE, Medicare Advantage, value-based payment, provider payment reform) and assess strategic and operational implications for healthcare providers such as hospitals and physician groups. • Create polished, client-ready deliverables — reports, policy briefs, and compelling PowerPoint presentations — that turn complex analysis into clear narratives and visuals. • Take ownership of your work from start to finish across multiple projects and tasks, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and driving client value. • Present analyses and recommendations directly to clients and stakeholders. • Contribute to ATI’s thought leadership, including external publications, presentations, data analysis synthesis, and commentary on policy and market trends. What We’re Looking For • Graduate degree preferred (business, healthcare administration, economics, public policy, public health, public administration or related field). • 2–6 years of relevant experience in consulting, healthcare provider strategy, or value-based care. • Strong research and analytic skills — both qualitative and quantitative — with a proven ability to synthesize findings into strategic recommendations. • Ability to lead tasks, design and execute projects, and mentor junior team members. • Exceptional skills in developing and delivering high-quality, client-ready PowerPoint presentations and written reports. • Expertise in at least one of the following: Traditional Medicare, Medicare Advantage, value-based care, complex care, long-term care, or provider strategy/operations. • Comfort engaging directly with clients, including presenting findings and facilitating discussions. • High initiative and professional maturity, with a strong sense of ownership. Preferred Experience • Management consulting or client-service background in a fast-paced environment managing multiple client projects at once. • Direct experience working for, with or alongside healthcare providers (e.g., hospitals, physician groups, post-acute care or long-term care organizations, etc.) to implement strategic and/or value-based payment initiatives. • Work with large healthcare datasets (e.g., Medicare claims, Medicaid data, commercial claims, encounter data, EHR/clinical data, or CMS public use files), including cleaning, managing, and analyzing large, complex datasets. • Experience with financial modeling or quantitative research tools.
