Support procurement team through data insights, market research, supplier analysis, sourcing support, and cross-functional collaboration during a 3-month internship. | Must be a current full-time student with a high school diploma, minimum GPA 2.6, and available for a 3-month internship from May-August 2026. | Role description: The Procurement Intern will provide the opportunity to translate theoretical knowledge into a sound understanding of procurement within a manufacturing environment. This internship will support the Procurement team through data-driven insights, market research and supplier performance analysis. This includes identifying cost savings, improving supplier partnerships and ensuring alignment with corporate sustainability and compliance goals Responsibilities: • Complete a special project (50% of the workload) focused on procurement strategies and processes within a manufacturing environment, this includes but is not limited to: • Spend and data analysis • * Collect, clean and analyze spend data to identify cost savings opportunities and efficiencies • Build dashboards and reports using Excel, PowerBI or other analytical tools • Supplier research and benchmarking • * Conduct market intelligence, track commodity price movements and benchmark supplier costs • Suport supplier due diligence, capability assessments and sustainability initiatives • Sourcing process support • * Assist in preparing RFIs, RFPs; analyze bids and summarize results for category managers • Support contract negotiations with financial and operation analysis • Supplier relationship management • * Track KPIs (on-time delivery, quality, cost and sustainability metrics) • Help drive supplier performance improvement and compliance with company standards • Cross-functional collaboration • * Partner with Procurement, Finance, Operations and Legal teams with support category strategies • Present an end-of-internship summary to the Ardagh Glass Packaging executive leadership team Minimum skills / qualifications: • High school diploma • Must be currently enrolled in a full-time degree program • Must be 18 years of age • Ability to complete a 3-month internship from May-August 2026 • Cumulative GPA of a 2.6 Preferred skills / qualifications: • Completion of PLTW coursework • Ambition to pursue a career in procurement About Ardagh Group Ardagh Glass Packaging is a global leader in glass packaging solutions, producing packaging for the world’s leading brands. Analyze and manage transportation and warehouse functions by developing performance metrics, identifying cost savings, and supporting logistics decision-making. | Requires a bachelor's degree, 2 years logistics and transportation experience, freight analysis skills, proficiency in transportation management systems, and strong communication skills. | Role description: The Transportation Analyst has responsibilities for providing analysis and insight in managing transportation and warehouse functions and relationships by developing and producing performance metrics for use in managing Ardagh Glass Packaging – North America (AGP-NA) business. This includes identifying trends, formulating, and presenting cost savings opportunities to transportation leadership. Responsibilities: • Provide operational and analytical support to carriers, warehouses, plants, and other departments as needed • Serve as a subject matter expert in the use of AGP-NA technology to manage transportation • Manage Transportation Management System (TMS) to track loads • Utilize PowerBI dashboards and other systems to manage transportation service and spending, while also researching, developing, and utilizing analytic software and mathematical models to aid in analyzing business data • Identify and solve logistical problems and assist management in making data-focused decisions in the areas of logistics forecasting, vendor performance, logistics performance, and logistics strategy • Develop cost/benefit models to support logistics projects and to track and analyze vendor cost performance to projected benefits • Build spreadsheet models to identify choices, formalize trade-offs, specify constraints, and track and analyze the impact of performance expectations on budgeted expectations • Collect appropriate data from internal and external sources • Extract large-scale data from multiple data tables and data warehouses and combine data into one format for consistent analysis across business units • Query data from organization databases to monitor manufacturing capacity, lead time, and other operational data that could affect logistics performance, analysis, and reporting • Use Pivot Tables, SQL, VB Macros, and other statistical modelling functions and formulas for data cleaning, reformatting, and data modelling • Process mapping of workflows, departmental relationships, and change impacts between these functions • Acquire, validate, store, protect, and process required data • Identify through analysis cost savings opportunities, efficiency improvements, and shipper-of-choice offerings including drop trailer programs, dock scheduling tools, optimal loading hours, etc. • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in various logistics systems and be able to support systems, train new users, ideate new reports/functionality, work with vendors to develop and implement such improvements, and train system users on new capabilities • Develop and publish training documents and processes for various systems in use at AGP-NA and conduct training classes for peers, plant employees, and vendor employees Minimum skills / qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field • Two (2) years of logistics and transportation experience • Two (2) years of experience analyzing freight • Knowledge of various transportation management systems and related tools • Excellent communication and customer service skills • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite • Ability to travel up to 10% Preferred skills / qualifications: • Previous experience using Power BI or a similar data visualization tool • Previous experience using SAP Benefits Offered: • Medical, prescription, dental and vision plans • Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) • Life insurance • 401(k) retirement plan with company match and an employer retirement contribution • Paid holidays, floating days and vacation • Short- and Long-Term Disability (STD/LTD) • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) • Tuition reimbursement program • Professional and personal development opportunities through Employee Resource Groups • Benefits available from day 1 of employment • Flexible and hybrid working hours Please note the compensation and benefits information above is accurate as of the date of this posting.
