We work extensively on DSA-regulated projects, school facilities, and large-scale institutional developments. Our team is known for technical expertise, integrity, and long-term client relationships. We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead our pursuit efforts and help expand our presence across public-sector and institutional markets. Position Overview The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, managing RFQ and RFP submissions, and supporting strategic growth initiatives. This role requires deep familiarity with public procurement, strong writing and coordination skills, and the ability to translate technical inspection services into clear, compelling proposals. Key Responsibilities • * Identify, track, and pursue new business opportunities aligned with Premier Inspection Services’ capabilities • Lead and manage RFQ and RFP responses, ensuring full compliance with public-sector requirements and deadlines • Develop proposal narratives, resumes, and project descriptions in collaboration with inspectors and leadership • Coordinate teaming efforts with architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants • Support interview preparation, presentation materials, and post-submittal follow-up • Assist the Chief Operating Officer (COO) with strategic business development initiatives, including pursuit strategy, market research, and client positioning • Provide analytical and organizational support to the COO, including tracking pursuits, maintaining dashboards, and preparing internal reports • Maintain CRM data, proposal calendars, and pursuit pipelines • Build and maintain relationships with school districts, public agencies, and institutional clients Required Qualifications • Minimum 5+ years of business development experience in the AEC industry (inspection, QA/QC, construction, engineering, or architecture) • Proven experience managing RFQs and RFPs for public-sector projects • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple pursuits simultaneously • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and proposal-related tools Preferred Qualifications • Direct experience working for or with an inspection or QA/QC firm • Strong understanding of DSA-regulated projects and public school construction processes • Familiarity with school districts, community college districts, or higher education clients • Experience supporting DSA closeout, compliance, or inspection services pursuits • Experience with CRM systems and proposal tracking tools What We Offer • Competitive compensation commensurate with experience • Flexible work environment • Opportunity to directly impact firm growth and market presence • Collaborative, technically driven team culture How to Apply Please submit your resume and a brief cover letter describing your experience with RFQs/RFPs and construction-related projects.
