Manage and improve revenue processes including fee calculations, billing, month-end close, and audit support while collaborating cross-functionally. | 4+ years accounting experience in Big 4 or fintech, BA/BS in related field, strong US GAAP and ASC 606 knowledge, advanced Google Sheets skills, and excellent communication. | Description: • Build out efficient operations for newly developing business lines and scale revenue processes. • Play a critical role in month-end close activities with specific focus on fee calculations and billing operations. • Design, document, and implement policies, processes, and controls related to revenue. • Partner closely with internal teams to facilitate a timely and efficient month-end close process for multiple lines of business. • Serve as the primary point of contact for coordinating fee calculations and settlements with external business partners. • Proactively suggest and implement improvements to the design and execution of fee calculations, including performing system testing and implementing controls prior to full deployment. • Assist with ad hoc projects while communicating impacts to other projects and recurring responsibilities. • Investigate and resolve variances resulting from flux analysis and account reconciliations. • Promote a positive working environment; document solutions and contribute to company-wide knowledge sharing. • Serve as go-to point of contact for product and data science teams on matters related to client fees. • Assist with internal and external audit processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting. Requirements: • 4+ years of related accounting experience at a Big 4 public accounting firm or in a fast-paced startup/fintech environment. • A BA/BS Degree with a concentration in Accounting, Business, Economics and/or Finance (CPA preferred). • Working knowledge of ASC 606, US GAAP and SOX compliance. • Possess a strong understanding of US GAAP and a working knowledge of ASC 606.
