Facilitating Scrum ceremonies, coaching teams in Agile practices, removing impediments, and tracking team performance. | Requires 3-5 years as a Scrum Master, experience with agile tools like Jira and Azure DevOps, and strong communication and facilitation skills. | Duration: 6+ Months- Contract to Hire Location: 100% REMOTE Scrum Master The Scrum Master is responsible for facilitating agile processes and ceremonies for development teams. This role will support the team in delivering high-quality products and services by fostering an environment of collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement. The Scrum Master acts as a servant-leader, coaching the team in agile principles and practices, removing impediments, and shielding the team from external interferences. This role is full-time and remote. What You'll Do • Organize and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives • Ensure ceremonies are productive, time-boxed, and result in actionable outcomes • Maintain and update the team's sprint board and other agile tools (e.g., Jira, Digital.ai) to ensure transparency and accuracy of work progress. • Coach the development team on Scrum values, principles, and best practices • Promote self-organization and cross-functionality within the team • Identify and remove impediments that hinder the team's progress, escalating when necessary • Help the team continuously improve its processes and productivity through retrospectives and feedback loops • Foster clear communication channels between the development team, Product Owner, and other stakeholders • Assist the Product Owner in maintaining a well-groomed and prioritized product backlog • Protect the team from outside distractions and unsolicited requests. • Track and report on sprint progress, velocity, and other key agile metrics • Use data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and communicate team performance • Contribute to the agile community of practice within client, sharing knowledge and learning from others What You'll Need Required: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). • 3-5 years of experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment • At least 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master for a software development team • Experience with agile tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally, or similar. • Familiarity with various agile techniques (e.g., User Stories, TDD, BDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing). • Experience working with cross-functional teams • Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills • Strong servant-leadership abilities • Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills • Ability to understand technical concepts and communicate them to non-technical stakeholders • Demonstrated ability to coach and motivate teams • Strong organizational and time management skills • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM I) certification

Conduct third-party and internal risk audits and assessments for university departments, ensuring compliance and managing risk. | 5+ years IT or information security experience, risk assessment and management skills, technical knowledge, excellent communication, and ability to meet project deadlines. | Unit Risk and Compliance Analyst Duration: 12+ Months Rate: $50/hr on W2 or $55-60/hr on 1099 Location: 100% Remote, must be U.S. based Candidate need to do third party audits of outside business partners like for a company s vendors, services providers, etc., This need is for someone with experience conducting audits of each internal department of the university starting with their Finance and Administration (DFA) unit. Needs to conduct Internal Risk Assessments/Management and compliance of each departs information systems. Experience working for higher education college or university is not required but heavy preferred. Experience Skillset Required Internal Risk Assessments/Management and compliance role (UC IS-3 experience is a big plus, if not ISO 27002). Some Technical background/Knowledge / needed to conduct risk assessment Excellent Communication skills / Able to hold effective meetings / Customer facing Able to follow project schedule and complete the assigned task on time 5+ years of IT security or information security experience with a proven ability to engage with Senior Management and regulators
