Manage and improve the nonprofit's Wix website, develop communication materials, and manage Google Ad Grant campaigns to support organizational outreach. | Experience with Wix or similar platforms, SEO knowledge, creativity, attention to detail, ability to work independently, and commitment to the nonprofit's mission. | About Us: Aid Afghanistan for Education (AAFE) is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering marginalized Afghan children and girls through education. Our mission is to unlock the potential of young marginalized Afghans through education as a means to prepare them to fully participate in society. We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented volunteer to: • Manage and improve our website on Wix, ensuring the website is engaging, up-to-date, and reflective of AAFE’s mission and impact. • Design and develop various communication materials such as brochures, social media campaigns, and annual reports. • Manage Google Ad Grant account and SEO activities. Key Responsibilities: Website Management: • Maintain and update the website content regularly to reflect the latest news, events, and organizational achievements. • Ensure all pages are optimized for user experience, accessibility, and mobile responsiveness. • Manage media content, including images, videos, and downloadable resources. Website Improvement: • Analyze the website and suggest improvements to enhance functionality, design, and overall user engagement. • Identify areas for improvement, such as navigation, page layout, and SEO. • Implement new features or sections as needed. Communication Development: • Design engaging newsletters and email campaigns via Constant Contact. • Assist with graphic design for the organization’s brochure and annual report. • Design and develop content for social media campaigns. Manage Google Ad Grant: • Create and manage the campaign on Google Ad Grant. Qualifications: • Experience with Wix website management or similar platforms. • Creative, with a strong eye for design and attention to detail. • Knowledge of SEO and digital content best practices. • Ability to work independently and take initiative. • A strong commitment and genuine interest in AAFE’s mission and values. Commitment: • Minimum 5–10 hours per week, depending on availability and organizational needs. • Flexible schedule with opportunities for long-term involvement.
