Lead business capture and proposal efforts for radar products, create new business opportunities in EW, MILCOM, and SATCOM markets, and manage customer relationships. | BS in Engineering or Business, 10+ years in business development management, ability to create new business opportunities in defense markets, US Citizenship, and willingness to travel 30-50%. | Our client is a leading maker of RF Phased Array and Radar Systems for Defense and Aerospace. They are currently seeking a Business Development Director primarily responsible for Business Capture and Proposals for Radar Products. • The ideal candidate will have a BS in Engineering and/or Business with 10 years of more of Business Development Management experience. • We need someone who will go beyond current business and create new business opportunities for Radars within EW, MILCOM, and SATCOM markets. • They should be excellent at customer relationship management as well as understanding the company’s relationship with the DOD. • Understanding DOD acquisition is not required, but is a huge plus (i.e. someone who has worked with FAR/DFAR contracts). • 30-50% travel required. • US Citizenship required.
