Conduct thorough inspections of products, collaborate with teams to resolve defects, and maintain accurate quality records. | Requires 3+ years in electro-mechanical inspection, IPC standards knowledge, microscope use, and high school diploma. | About the Role We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Quality Assurance Inspector to ensure the highest standards of product quality. In this role, you will be instrumental in identifying defects, verifying compliance, and maintaining accurate documentation. Your expertise in IPC standards and electro-mechanical inspection will directly contribute to our commitment to excellence. Responsibilities • Conduct thorough inspections of incoming, in-process, and final products, including customer source inspections, to ensure adherence to quality standards. • Perform spot-inspections, sampling, first-piece verification, and 100% inspection as required to maintain quality at the production line level. • Collaborate with the Quality and Engineering teams to identify, document, and resolve defects, deviations from specifications, and non-compliance issues. • Maintain accurate records of inspections and non-conformities, contributing to process improvements and quality control measures. • Support first-piece verification runs by preparing and reviewing accompanying documentation. • Conduct regular quality line-audits to verify that all documentation, consumables, and tooling are within specified parameters. • Champion proper ESD, PPE, and FOD prevention practices, as well as calibration and ISO compliance verifications. Qualifications Required Skills • 3+ years of experience in quality assurance, specifically in the inspection of electro-mechanical assemblies, bare PCBs, and mechanical enclosures within a manufacturing setting. • Familiarity with MMIC technology (amplifiers, attenuators, filters, switches, etc.). • Ability to spend extended periods using a microscope for detailed inspections. • Solid understanding of IPC Industry Standards. • High School Diploma or equivalent. Preferred Skills • J-STD-001 Class 3 and/or IPC 610 certification. • Experience working within an ISO-9001 and/or AS9100 Quality System environment. • Excellent communication skills to provide real-time feedback effectively. • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment. • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to zero defects.
