Lead technical discovery, design scalable Salesforce solutions, and oversee implementation projects. | Extensive Salesforce platform experience, multiple certifications, and proven client engagement and project management skills. | JOB DESCRIPTION As a Senior Technical Salesforce Consultant at Abstrakt Marketing Group, you will serve as a senior technical leader responsible for designing, scoping, estimating, and delivering advanced Salesforce solutions for clients. This role extends beyond administration and development to include strategic architecture guidance, technical leadership on client engagements, and ensuring that all implementations align with Salesforce best practices. The Sr. Technical Salesforce Consultant will partner closely with Client Success Managers (CSMs) and serve as the technical lead on client calls. You will guide discovery discussions, translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions, provide detailed scopes of work, and develop accurate hour estimates to support new business opportunities and expansion efforts. This position requires deep platform expertise, strong communication skills, and the ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution. The ideal candidate has extensive experience across multiple Salesforce Clouds, understands cross-platform integration, and is comfortable leading technical conversations with executive and operational stakeholders POSITION CERTIFICATIONS • REQUIRED - Must hold at least four certifications with at least two of the following certifications: • Salesforce Revenue Cloud Consultant • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant • MuleSoft Certified Developer or Architect • Tableau Certification (Desktop Specialist, Data Analyst, or Consultant) • Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant • Salesforce Agentforce Certification • Salesforce Administrator and/or Platform App Builder certifications strongly preferred. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES • Technical Leadership, Scoping & Client Engagement • Serve as the technical lead on client calls in partnership with Client Success Managers. • Lead technical discovery sessions to identify requirements, constraints, and integration points. • Translate business needs into scalable Salesforce solution designs. • Develop detailed technical scopes of work for new implementations and enhancements. • Provide accurate hour estimates and level-of-effort assessments to support new deals and change orders. • Collaborate with sales and client success teams to define solution boundaries, assumptions, risks, and dependencies. • Provide architectural recommendations aligned with Salesforce best practices. • Communicate technical tradeoffs, risks, and design decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Solution Architecture & Design • Design scalable Salesforce architectures across Sales, Service, Marketing, Revenue, and Data functions. • Create and maintain Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs) to document system architecture and data models. • Develop technical design documentation and implementation road-maps. • Define integration architecture for external systems using APIs, middleware, and automation tools. • Ensure adherence to Salesforce security, data governance, and performance best practices. • Project Execution & Oversight • Break down scoped projects into actionable work items and delivery phases. • Create and assign technical actions to appropriate internal resources. • Provide oversight and review of configuration, automation, integration, and custom development. • Ensure all deliverables meet defined scope, quality standards, and timeline expectations. • Perform solution validation and quality assurance reviews prior to client delivery. • Identify opportunities for optimization and continuous improvement. • Advanced Platform Expertise • Architect and implement complex automation using Flow, Apex (as applicable), and integration frameworks. • Support multi-cloud implementations and cross-platform data strategies. • Guide best practice implementations across Revenue operations, Marketing automation, analytics, and data platforms. • Stay current on Salesforce product releases and recommend innovation opportunities to clients. JOB REQUIREMENTS • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. • 5+ years of progressive Salesforce implementation experience. • Proven experience leading technical discovery, scoping, and estimation for client engagements. • Demonstrated ability to produce detailed Statements of Work (SOWs) and level-of-effort estimates. • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data modeling, security model, and integration patterns. • Experience creating ERDs and formal technical documentation. • Ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously. • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business language. • Demonstrated ability to lead technical resources and ensure best practice delivery standards.
