About the role We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer with a genuine eye for detail and a strong product mindset. Day-to-day, you’ll be designing the future of finance - translating technical constraints and protocol mechanics into intuitive, coherent interfaces that feel simple and deliberate. You care about the details. The spacing, the hierarchy, the state that only appears in edge cases — that’s the kind of thing that matters to you, and it shows in your work. You think in systems, sweat the micro-interactions, and understand that clarity is a competitive advantage. \n How you can make an impact: Design end-to-end product experiences across our web and mobile products - from early exploration through polished UI Translate DeFi mechanics and data-heavy flows into intuitive, user-centered interfaces Create high-quality mockups and interactive prototypes that clearly communicate intent Contribute to and evolve Aave’s design system - ensuring consistency, scalability, and craft Work closely with engineering to ensure what ships matches the design vision Partner with product to shape problem definition, user flows, and success criteria Think through edge cases, error states, and loading scenarios — not just the happy path Utilise the latest AI tools into your day-to-day work Let's connect if you have: Strong product design fundamentals - hierarchy, typography, spacing, interaction, and systems thinking are second nature Experience designing complex digital products (fintech, trading, dashboards, developer tools, or similarly technical spaces is a plus) Comfortable working in ambiguity and helping shape problems, not just solutions Experience contributing to or working within a design system A genuine eye for detail - you notice when something feels off, inconsistent, or unfinished Confident collaborating cross-functionally with product and engineering Able to clearly articulate design rationale and give/receive thoughtful critique Nice to haves: Curiosity about web3 and DeFi — we’re happy to bring you up to speed if the space is new to you Experience designing data-dense or high-trust financial interfaces Curiosity about AI and how it can improve product design and daily workflows \n Haven’t quite met all the criteria?
