The role is part of the Supply Chain organization (Supply Chain Planning Operations within the Corporate Planning Operations Group) to support the evolution, continuous improvement and governance of our planning processes, systems, and tools for our growing product business segment to support our IDM 2.0 strategy. The Director of Demand Planning manages a team responsible for the S and OP Demand Plan (monthly, 24 months) and S and OE Demand Plan (weekly, 6-9 months). The Director works with leadership across Intel Products (Supply Planning, Finance, Sales, Business Unit) and executive leadership to gain alignment on the Demand Plan. Primary Responsibilities -Lead and manage Intel's Product S and OP and S and OE demand planning processes and teams. -Manage Demand Planners with the development of the S and OP Demand Plan (monthly). -Support the Demand Planners with Demand Review meetings, guide scenario management, and constraint planning for the S and OP process. -Collaborate with Category Sales, Supply Planning and Finance leadership on monthly updates on the S and OP demand plan, highlighting any gaps to target and recommending demand shaping opportunities. -Manage and drive the S and OE Demand Plan with the development of the S and OE demand planning process (weekly). -Collaborate with Category Sales, Supply Planning and Finance leadership on weekly updates on the S and OE demand plan, highlighting any gaps to target and recommending demand shaping opportunities. -Provide the Supply Chain the level of detail needed to produce supply plans. Manage and communicate the risks/opportunities of demand scenarios and their impact on supply and the P&L. -Ensure processes are efficient, effective, and aligned with the Product's overall goals and act as a process champion and driving continuous improvement within demand planning. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: -10+ years' experience in demand planning and/or demand planning process analysis, supply chain management, process improvement, change management within a highly matrixed collaborative team, including analysis and process data business solutions. -7+ years management experience -Analytical and detailed-oriented (process and data) -Knowledge of Intel Product's market, product portfolio, and supply chain. -Executive level written and verbal communication skills -Ability to influence complex outcomes/decision making with a variety of senior stakeholders. -Excellent teamwork skills and willingness to work with cross-functional global teams -Organizational/project management skills, willingness to jump in and resolve alignment and planning issues. -Self-learner and willingness to proactively solve problems. -Understanding of statistical / algorithmic / predictive analytics / machine learning (time series forecasting) is a plus -Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
