Description A Billing Specialist is responsible for processing contracts, managing sales orders and billing, reviewing invoices, resolving discrepancies, and assisting with month-end closing. Their duties ensure accurate and timely invoicing, proper financial record-keeping, and compliance with company policies. Key responsibilities Contract and sales order management: Process new contracts, renewals, and revisions to ensure accuracy in terms, pricing, and invoicing. Invoicing: Generate, review, and submit accurate customer invoices, verifying them against contracts and company policies. Issue resolution: Investigate and resolve customer inquiries, billing discrepancies, and payment issues through collaboration with other departments. Financial record-keeping: Maintain organized billing records, reconcile accounts, and ensure data integrity. Month-end closing: Assist the finance team by preparing reports, ensuring accurate revenue recognition, and performing other closing activities.
