✨Hiring a Talented Payroll Specialist✨ Job Description The Payroll Specialist will focus on semi-monthly payroll, processing new hires, ensuring the accuracy of time data entry and payroll reporting, processing garnishments, benefit administration, and providing other financial support services Responsibilities • Process payroll for the designated facilities on a semi-monthly basis using EZ Labor and Paycom. • Ensure all timesheets are correct and approved within Paycom, and that supervisors approve their employees’ time in EZ Labor. • Maintain updated descriptions for EZ Labor pay groups and ensure they function as designed. • Verify updates in EZ Labor and Paycom reflect changes. • Track employee personal days and leaves of absence using appropriate payroll codes. • Prepare payroll reports for the Department of Labor and other agencies as requested. • Prepare invoices for benefit processing. • Research all payroll-related inquiries. Essential Skills • 2+ years of payroll experience, processing up to 250 employees semi-monthly. • Experience in PBJ or healthcare/care facility payroll for Medicare/Medicaid. • Proficiency in benefits administration and garnishments. • Experience navigating payroll systems, specifically Paycom or mid-sized cloud-based payroll systems. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Beaverton, Oregon. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr.
