Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll and proficiency in relevant tools such as Excel and Smartsheet. Experience with SAP and Success Factors is preferred, along with strong attention to detail and communication skills.
Job Title: Payroll Specialist Job Description This position plays a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, contributing to the success of the organization. The role requires meticulous attention to detail and effective communication to guarantee that all payroll-related tasks are handled efficiently and stakeholders are well-informed. Responsibilities Process payroll cycles, including on and off cycles and separations. Communicate effectively to validate understanding of payroll guidance. Identify gaps or areas for enhancement and propose necessary changes. Guide stakeholders to ensure compliance with payroll procedures. Ensure that external partners understand payroll information accurately. Utilize best practices in payroll operations and escalate any concerns. Identify learning opportunities to enhance personal and team expertise. Essential Skills Proficiency in Payroll, Excel, and Smartsheet. Experience with cycle processing and time entry. Experience with SAP and Success Factors is preferred. A minimum of 2+ years of experience in payroll. Strong attention to detail and communication skills. Analytical skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Ability to handle separation, banking, cycle processing, bonuses, garnishments, and multi-state payroll. Additional Skills & Qualifications Certifications in SAP and Success Factors are advantageous. Preferred experience in Federal/State/Local and Provincial labor, payroll, garnishment, and tax law.
