Job Title: Coordinator, Logistics - Skilled Job Description Administer and operate the organization's warehouses, including processing, packaging, and shipping of supplies, materials, and equipment. This role involves crating robots, packaging subassemblies, and preparing and coordinating schedules for shipping materials. Ensure the effectiveness of operating procedures, space utilization, and maintenance and protection of facilities and equipment. The position involves coordinating product movement from the warehouse with all third-party logistics companies, and defined procedures and tasks guide decision-making. Ad hoc system investigation and reporting are necessary, along with managing all aspects of shipping documentation and maintaining quality standards. Responsibilities • Administer and operate the organization's warehouses. • Process, package, and ship supplies, materials, and equipment. • Prepare and coordinate schedules for shipping materials. • Ensure effectiveness of operating procedures, space utilization, maintenance, and protection of facilities and equipment. • Coordinate movement of product from warehouse with third-party logistics companies. • Conduct ad hoc system investigation and reporting. • Manage shipping documentation: creation of shipment authorization paperwork, verification of packing slips, and coordination on freight and customs documentation. • Handle multiple concurrent tasks and changing priorities. • Manage additional projects and responsibilities as required. • Maintain quality, ensure audit compliance and record keeping. • Ensure quality standards are met or exceeded. • Collaborate and communicate effectively with the team and other departments. Essential Skills • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Outlook. • Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks and shifting priorities. • Excellent customer service and communication skills. • Logistics experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications • ERP system familiarity - ORACLE or SAP preferred. • Background in medical devices. • Experience administering warehouse operations including packaging, shipping, and scheduling. • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments. • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks. • Passion for helping people and contributing to a high-performing team. • Seeking a career path with internal growth opportunities. Work Environment This role is located onsite at Weston, FL, with a schedule of 1st shift (8-5pm). You will be part of the Mako warehouse team, which is supportive and growth-oriented. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
