Job Title: Benefits HR Assistant Job Description Join the My HR Live Support (MHLS) Benefits team and contribute to making a positive impact on employees! The MHLS team offers HR assistance by delivering accurate, consistent, and timely responses to inquiries via phone, chats, and HR cases. As a Benefits HR Assistant, you will be the initial point of contact for employee-related inquiries, providing comprehensive case management services. This includes financial, health, and internal reviews to ensure compliance with benefit plans. Your role is crucial in fostering trust with employees by delivering precise information and resolving issues. Responsibilities Serve as the first point of contact for employee-related inquiries and provide holistic case management services. Assist employees with financial, health, and internal reviews to ensure compliance with benefit plans. Take ownership of employee contacts and ensure each case is resolved with high problem-solving and customer service standards. Build customer trust through empathetic and personalized conversations, adjusting case management plans as needed. Manage workload effectively to meet SLAs and productivity goals. Use critical thinking and judgement to balance process adherence with employee needs. Resolve inquiries by referring to documentation and escalate when necessary. Respond to employee-impacting issues during benefits events, ensuring proper communication and documentation. Consult and collaborate with partner teams on process changes to resolve cross-functional issues and improve policies. Essential Skills Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong customer service focus with prioritization of quality and customer experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Understanding of benefit terms and programs. Quick to act on customer issues with strong judgement and decision-making. High degree of ownership and ability to handle sensitive situations with care and empathy. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, quickly pivoting through several communication forms. 2+ years of experience in Benefits or Human Resources, preferably in a contact center or shared service environment. Experience with rapid and complex changing work environments. Technical aptitude and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software. Additional Skills & Qualifications Outstanding customer service and communication skills. Ability to adapt to a flexible working environment. Work Environment This position is 100% remote, providing a flexible working environment where you can make a significant impact in Benefits administration within a large corporate setting. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Wyoming, Wyoming. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
