Candidates should have strong customer service skills and the ability to manage high-volume inquiries effectively. An Associate's Degree or higher is preferred, along with experience in MS Office and familiarity with contractor and distributor networks.
Job Title: Fully Remote Sales Claims Assistant (Remote with restrictions, candidates must be local to Omaha or Kansas City) Job Description The Claims Territory Assistant provides localized support to the Sales and Claims Departments by fielding incoming inquiries, managing day-to-day communication with homeowners, contractors, and distributors, and coordinating urgent on-site inspections as needed. This role ensures timely follow-through, enhances responsiveness in the region, and allows the Sales Representative to refocus on strategic market growth activities. The position represents the company professionally, with a strong customer-first approach. Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for claims-related inquiries from contractors, homeowners, and distributors. Respond to inbound calls, emails, and texts regarding active claims in a timely manner. Maintain accurate claim records, status updates, and follow-up documentation in claims management systems. Support a designated multi-state territory. Assist the Sales Representative by reducing the administrative claims workload. Educate contractors and distribution partners on routing claims inquiries appropriately. Document inspection findings with photos and required reports. Coordinate findings and next steps with Claims and Technical Services teams. Maintain professionalism and empathy during sensitive customer interactions. Essential Skills Strong customer service skills Capability of dealing with difficult situations and diverse people High attention to detail Experience with MS Office required, Google Suite preferred Experience with CRMs preferred Ability to manage high-volume inquiries and prioritization effectively Familiarity with contractor and distributor networks Ability to perform basic math calculations Ability to work independently and in a team Excellent written and oral communication skills Additional Skills & Qualifications Knowledge of roofing is a plus Associates Degree or higher highly preferred Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Work Environment This position is 100% remote within the Omaha, NE or Kansas City, KS markets, supporting sales representatives in these areas. The work schedule is during the day shift from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, NE. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.20 - $23.70/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
