Job Title: Director of Talent Acquisition Job Description We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Talent Acquisition to lead our recruitment efforts. This role requires a visionary leader who can align our hiring practices with our company’s mission, vision, values, and culture. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing recruitment strategies that support our organizational goals. Responsibilities • Develop and execute a strategic approach to hiring individuals who align with our mission, vision, values, and culture. • Provide insights on recruitment standards and best practices to hiring managers, ensuring a best-in-class candidate experience. • Consistently evaluate tools and technology to enhance recruitment efficacy and reduce costs. • Develop and maintain a network of contacts to identify and source talent. • Utilize communication and recruiting channels to promote open positions and our brand to potential candidates. • Build strong relationships with internal leaders, vendors, community organizations, and team members to ensure successful recruitment outcomes. • Perform managerial duties related to recruiting and maintain current industry knowledge. • Manage and coordinate all communication channels with candidates. • Manage recruitment financial resources, overseeing budget allocation and expenditure. • Maintain accurate documentation on candidates, searches, and recruitment activities for auditing purposes. • Provide monthly performance metrics for the Recruitment department, including number of hires, cost per hire, time to fill, budget variances, and open positions. • Collaborate with Marketing on Employer Branding efforts. • Develop and execute Internship and Early Career Strategy. • Directly supervise the Recruitment Team, providing coaching, development, and performance management. • Foster productivity and collaboration within the team, encouraging new ideas and approaches. Essential Skills • Minimum 7 years experience in Talent Acquisition. • Minimum 3 years experience in managing direct reports. • Bachelor’s Degree in HR or related field. • Experience in a fast-paced Human Resources environment preferred. • Strong understanding of recruitment data and metrics for decision making. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Proven leadership skills and industry knowledge. • Excellent interviewing and active listening skills. • Strong knowledge of recruiting websites, applicant tracking systems, Microsoft Office, and creative sourcing techniques. • Ability to communicate effectively with executives and employees at all levels. • Strong prioritization skills for managing time-sensitive matters. • Working knowledge of employment law and critical thinking skills. Work Environment This role operates in a dynamic and fast-paced Human Resources environment, requiring the use of various recruiting technologies and tools. The Director of Talent Acquisition will work closely with multiple departments and will be expected to maintain professional relationships across all levels of the organization.
