Job Title: Business Analyst 2 Job Description This role is designed to provide business management support for an engineering team dedicated to developing AI tools. You will be primarily responsible for headcount management, data analysis, and project support, working closely with directors to ensure the smooth operation of teams focused on product development and AI infrastructure. Responsibilities • Review and approve contracts, cost proposals, and contract supplements. • Approve project and work breakdown structures. • Review and approve the documentation of business processes. • Approve project budgets and expenditures while monitoring transaction controls and costs to prevent potential budget overruns. • Consult with corporate offices, project managers, auditors, and client representatives regarding future proposals. • Prepare sub-agreements and review sub-consultant invoices to ensure contract compliance. • Manage headcount for two large teams, contributing to hiring projects by ensuring best practices. • Conduct data analysis and provide insights to support business management. Essential Skills • 2-4 years of experience in the field. • Bachelor's degree in an analytical field such as business management, economics, finance, or accounting. • Minimum 3 years of experience with headcount management. • Minimum 3 years of experience with data analysis using Excel and Power BI. • Minimum 2 years of experience with SharePoint and PowerPoint. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Attention to detail and strong execution excellence. • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Experience with Microsoft Word. • Knowledge of business and management principles for strategic planning and resource allocation. • Analytical mindset with the ability to project future revenues and expenses. • Experience with computer applications, particularly Excel and Enterprise Application. Work Environment This is a fully remote position, allowing candidates to work from any time zone within the continental US. A standard laptop will be provided by the supplier. The role requires 40 hours per week with no overtime. The position currently has a high likelihood of extension, based on budget confirmation. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Redmond, WA. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $37.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
