Full Description

Job Title: Administrative Assistant Job Description Serve as an internal and external point of contact for administrative and shipment tracking support. This role primarily involves fulfilling supply requests, assembling shipments, and utilizing FedEx software to manage package delivery. Strong email and phone communication skills are required, alongside proficiency in Excel. Responsibilities • Fulfill supply requests and coordinate shipments using UPS and FedEx. • Track and manage inventory. • Assist with supply kits distribution and tracking shipments to and from patients. • Perform data entry and maintain logs in Excel. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with missed or delayed packages, offering customer service support as needed. • Respond to inquiries in a courteous and helpful manner. • Perform high volume data entry and organizational tasks. • Support new client and portal registrations, ensuring updates are complete. • Follow up with doctors' offices and other administrative duties as assigned. Essential Skills • Proficiency in data entry and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. • Experience with UPS, FedEx, and logistics. • Strong customer service and troubleshooting abilities. • Minimum of 3 years high volume data entry or administrative assistant experience in a corporate office environment. • Proficiency with Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) or similar software. • Typing speed of 50 words per minute. Additional Skills & Qualifications • High School diploma or equivalent. • Self-starter with strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work collaboratively across all levels of staff. • Attentive to detail with a high level of accuracy. • Experience in the medical industry is preferred. • Motivated to seek, learn, and apply new skills and knowledge. Work Environment The position requires local candidates to Montgomery County and offers a casual and friendly work environment. The role is office-based, located downstairs from the laboratory area. The working hours are from 9 AM to 5 PM with a 30-minute break. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
