Full Description

Position: Senior Java Developer(Only w2) Location: Whippany, NJ (Hybrid – 2–3 days onsite per week) Experience: 12+ years Type: Long-term Contract Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications using Java 8+. • Build and manage microservices leveraging modern frameworks and best practices. • Implement and apply design patterns effectively in real-world use cases. • Develop and deploy containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, business analysts, and DevOps engineers. • Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and performance optimization. • Participate in system design discussions, contributing to architecture decisions and scalability strategies. Required Skills & Qualifications • 12+ years of total software development experience. • Strong expertise in Java 8+, including Collections, Streams, Multithreading, and Exception Handling. • Proven experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, etc.). • Deep understanding of object-oriented design principles and design patterns with practical application. • Hands-on experience building and managing microservices architectures. • Proficiency in containerization and orchestration technologies – Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift. • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP preferred). • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Nice to Have • Exposure to Java 11+ or newer versions. • Experience with RESTful APIs, Kafka, or event-driven architectures. • Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana) and logging frameworks (ELK stack).
