Driver – Route Sales Team Member Location: Kansas City, MO Job Type: Full-Time Shift: Early-morning start times (as early as 3 AM) Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday (Wednesday down day) About the Position Associated Staffing in Omaha is seeking a reliable and motivated Driver – Route Sales Team Member to join our client's team in Kansas City, MO. This position is responsible for driving a route truck on established routes, delivering and selling products, providing excellent customer service, collecting payments and maintaining vehicle cleanliness and safety standards. Key Responsibilities • Maintain regular and consistent attendance. • Follow all safety, security and operational procedures. • Deliver products to established customers along assigned routes. • Collect payments, make change and record transactions accurately. • Write customer orders and follow customer instructions as needed. • Solicit new business from prospective customers and promote new products/services. • Address and resolve customer concerns in a professional manner. • Set up product displays and distribute sales promotion materials. • Collect empty or stale product returns. • Obtain customer signatures on receipts. • Clean and maintain the inside of the truck. • Perform routine vehicle inspections and report unsafe conditions immediately. Safety Expectations Potential hazards include: • Injury resulting from improper use of equipment or failure to follow procedures. • Motor vehicle accidents if safety practices are not followed. All drivers must: • Hold a valid driver’s license for their state of residence. • Maintain a clean driving record (no serious offenses or at-fault accidents in the past 5 years; no more than 3 moving violations in 5 years). • Follow all traffic laws and drive defensively at all times. • Never contest right-of-way and always operate the vehicle cautiously. All employees must follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and support their SQF Food Safety and Quality Policy. Training & Compensation Training Program: • 4-week training period with a Supervisor/Jumper. • Training pay: $850 per week.
