Sales Account Manager – Automotive OEM/Tiers Associated Spring US, LLC. seeks an experienced, talented, and self-driven professional to serve as Mobility Sales Account Manager for the Automotive OEM/Tier 1–2 markets. This role is accountable for managing strategic OEM/Tier accounts, developing and executing sales strategies, and achieving growth targets aligned with SICP/KPI metrics. The Account Manager will function as both a Key Account and Project Manager, serving as the customer’s main commercial contact while working closely with Associated Spring’s global manufacturing divisions. This position requires a strong combination of sales acumen, technical knowledge, and relationship-building skills. Responsibilities: Prospecting and Lead Generation Identify and prioritize high-potential markets, customer segments, and opportunities using CRM analytics and market research. Build and maintain a qualified sales pipeline. Sales Execution and Account Management Apply consultative and value-based selling to close opportunities. Manage large-scale OEM/Tier customer accounts, including pricing, contracts, and negotiations. Act as the primary customer contact for all commercial-related activities, project launches, and open issues. Account Expansion and Upselling Develop and deepen relationships with key decision makers. Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling to expand account value. Market Intelligence and Competitive Awareness Monitor customer trends, competitor strategies, and industry developments. Share insights with leadership and product teams to refine offerings and positioning. Technical Collaboration & Support Understand and communicate technical aspects of manufacturing processes and product integration with OEM platforms. Partner with global engineering, production, and logistics teams to support customer requirements and ensure fulfillment. Sales Tools & Reporting Utilize Salesforce, Cognism, PowerBI, and ERP systems effectively. Maintain accurate and timely reporting to support decision-making. Travel Requirement Approximately 50% travel to customer sites and Associated Spring manufacturing locations. Experience: Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, detailed reports, and business proposals to clients and senior management. A deep commitment to understanding and meeting the needs of medical customers. Demonstrates in-depth understanding of the medical device and component markets, leveraging expertise to drive sales and achieve business growth. Driven to achieve measurable results through strategic planning and execution. Builds trust with clients and partners while negotiating contracts and closing deals to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. Proactively identifies opportunities and develops innovative solutions to address client needs and market demands. Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and global partners. Embrace new ideas and approaches to address customer challenges and market opportunities. Ability to develop and execute business strategies to achieve revenue and growth objectives. Proficient in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce), Microsoft Office Suite, and other business development tools. Qualification: Years’ experience in OEM Sales, Account Management, or Business Development within the Automotive, Aerospace, or Industrial sectors. Demonstrated ability to perform in a remote environment while meeting targets. Strong contract negotiation, pricing, and customer portal management experience. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship management skills. Technical aptitude with the ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications. High-level organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities. Proficiency with Salesforce/CRM, ERP systems, and MS Office Suite.
