The Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) is seeking a customer-focused professional to support our Chapter Engagement Team. This role combines light data stewardship with program coordination responsibilities, supporting chapter awards programs, and online community for chapter executives, the annual Chapter Self-Assessment, chapter-related meetings and the Chapter Exchange website. Key Responsibilities: Chapter Engagement & Administrative Support • Writes, compiles, creates and distributes weekly chapter electronic newsletter, AGC Chapter Weekly, and weekly Chapter Alert, designed to promote AGC of America’s upcoming events, meetings and educational opportunities. • Regularly updates and maintains the AGC Chapter Exchange website including: the review and maintenance of all ongoing content on the site, adding new and relevant content as available, and driving chapter executives and staff to site. • Assists in the planning and execution of all Chapter-related meetings and programs. Membership Data Maintenance & Member Support • Serves as a liaison with members, chapters and staff concerning membership data related issues. • Monitors, reviews, and maintains AGC’s membership data, ensuring updates are accurate and timely. • Reviews new member profiles created via the website, verifies contact details, and assigns the correct record type. • Processes manual record updates, including adds, drops, changes, and annual chapter officer updates. • Serves as the first point of contact for questions submitted to the membership@agc.org inbox. • Coordinates with the IT Team on data integrity and reporting needs, including PowerBI dashboards and reports. Program & Project Support • Supports the administration of AGC’s Chapter Awards and National Awards programs, including backend platform work and membership verification. • Works with vendor to order and deliver Chapter Awards to winners. • Assists with the annual Chapter Self-Assessment, including data analysis and reporting support. • Helps maintain and update online platforms such as the Chapter Exchange and Culture of Care websites, tracking and reporting on analytics and usage data. • Coordinates fulfillment of the Chapter Staff Service Award and the S.I.R. Award. Administrative & Team Support • Collaborates with chapter services and customer service team members to address phone inquiries, live chats, and customer service tickets. • Runs member and chapter reports as needed and provides accurate data to staff and chapters upon request. • Promotes a culture of service, responsiveness, and collaboration across departments. • Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications, Education and/or Experience: • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail required. • Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant office experience required. • Comfort working with membership databases. Experience with Fonteva a plus. • Experience supporting member and/or chapter engagement programs preferred. • Experience supporting large-scale, multi-day events for industry professionals, and programs designed for chapter staff education or leadership training a plus • Experience providing administrative support for meetings with chapter leadership a plus • Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize in a deadline-driven environment required • Experience updating and navigating WordPress or other websites required • Professional, collaborative, and customer-first attitude required About the Organization: The Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) is the leading national trade association for the construction industry.
