Role Summary The Senior ECM Platform Engineer designs and delivers enterprise document and workflow solutions that improve efficiency, accuracy, and control across Associated Bank. You’ll help modernize how content is captured, processed, integrated, and managed while supporting automation, compliance, and reliable business operations. This role also provides an opportunity to mentor engineers and help shape the future of enterprise content management. Key Accountabilities Lead the design, configuration, and delivery of complex document capture, management, workflow, and case management solutions. Drive automation and intelligent document processing to reduce manual work, improve accuracy, and increase processing efficiency. Build and support integrations that enable reliable movement of document content and data across enterprise systems. Optimize ECM platform performance and reliability through advanced support, incident management, and root cause analysis. Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture, security, compliance, governance, and audit standards. Partner with vendors to resolve issues and support platform modernization, including emerging automation and AI capabilities. Assess solution designs, risks, dependencies, and technical requirements to support scalable and maintainable solutions. Mentor ECM Platform engineers and promote technical practices that improve solution quality and team capabilities. Education & Experience Required Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 5+ years designing and delivering complex ECM, document management, or workflow solutions in an enterprise environment. 5+ years building and supporting enterprise integrations using APIs, event-driven architecture, or similar technologies. 4+ years leading technical problem solving, production support, root cause analysis, and platform stability improvements. 4+ years developing, testing, and maintaining complex SQL queries and functions across relational databases. Preferred 3+ years of experience with ECM platforms such as OnBase, Box, or similar technologies. 3+ years delivering intelligent document processing or automation solutions using technologies such as Brainware or Kofax/Tungsten. 3+ years of experience working in a regulated environment, such as financial services or insurance, with an understanding of data governance, compliance, and security requirements. 1+ years of experience leveraging AI development tools.
