Position Summary The BI Developer plays a pivotal role in advancing our enterprise analytics ecosystem. This role collaborates across the business to identify analytic gaps, design scalable data models, and deliver high-impact dashboards and insights. You’ll develop new reporting solutions, optimize existing assets, and ensure data accuracy and accessibility across internal and external stakeholders. Key ResponsibilitiesData Modeling & Engineering Develop, optimize, and maintain data views, models, and tables using dbt. Work collaboratively with data architects to shape and maintain BI data architecture. Ensure proper alignment with data specifications and support creation of new data feeds. Analytics & Visualization Build, enhance, and publish interactive dashboards and reports in ThoughtSpot and Tableau. Use advanced visualization techniques (e.g., geospatial maps, scatterplots, multi-layer charts) to drive insights. Optimize dashboard performance for responsiveness and efficiency. Conduct peer reviews to validate report accuracy, logic, and data integrity. Collaboration & Stakeholder Support Partner with subject matter experts to understand internal and external reporting needs. Field ongoing questions and requests regarding data specifications and analytic deliverables. Lead client and partner training sessions related to data specifications and reporting tools. Stay up to date on evolving data standards, business rules, and analytic capabilities. Governance & Standards Follow SDLC best practices and apply consistent naming and documentation standards. Develop and maintain technical and reporting documentation. Ensure compliance with enterprise data standards and reporting governance. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in business intelligence development, systems analysis, or data-focused IT roles. Hands-on experience with Snowflake. Experience building data models and transformations using dbt. Strong proficiency with ThoughtSpot, Tableau, and SQL (advanced query writing required). Ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions. Strong communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Highly responsive, able to work under pressure, and comfortable managing multiple priorities. Experience with healthcare or pharmacy data preferred. Preferred Qualifications Expert-level ThoughtSpot development experience, including TML, Liveboards, and embedded analytics. Advanced SQL expertise, including performance tuning, complex joins, window functions, and large-scale datasets. Experience designing governed semantic layers or shared data models. Familiarity with modern data stack tools (e.g., Fivetran, Airflow, Looker, Sigma). Experience supporting external clients or working in a vendor/partner-facing environment. Background working with healthcare claims, pharmacy data, EMR/EHR datasets, or specialty pharma analytics. Experience operating in fast-growing, high-change, or startup-like environments. Understanding of ETL preferred.
