Role Overview: As the Manager of Business Development for Data Centers, you will play a pivotal role in expanding ASSA ABLOY's presence in the rapidly growing data center market. You will lead strategic initiatives to identify new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, and drive revenue growth by aligning our innovative access solutions with the unique needs of data center clients. What You'll Do: - You will develop and execute business development strategies tailored to the data center industry. - You will identify and pursue new market opportunities and partnerships to expand our customer base. - You will build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including data center operators and technology partners. - You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to customize solutions that meet client requirements. - You will analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions. - You will lead proposal development and negotiate contracts to secure new business. - You will represent ASSA ABLOY at industry events and conferences to enhance brand visibility. - You will track and report on business development metrics to senior management. What You Bring: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, preferably within the data center or technology sectors. - Strong understanding of data center operations and access control technologies. - Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working with global clients and managing international business development. - Knowledge of cybersecurity and physical security integration. - MBA or advanced business certification. - Familiarity with ASSA ABLOY products and solutions.
