Role Overview: As the Manager of Business Development for Data Centers, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence and driving growth within the data center sector. You will lead strategic initiatives, build strong client relationships, and identify new business opportunities to support ASSA ABLOY's continued success in this dynamic industry. What You'll Do: - You will develop and execute business development strategies tailored to the data center market. - You will identify and pursue new sales opportunities to increase revenue and market share. - You will build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and industry stakeholders. - You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align product offerings with market needs. - You will analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions. - You will lead negotiations and close deals that support business objectives. - You will represent ASSA ABLOY at industry events and conferences to enhance brand visibility. - You will provide regular reports and forecasts to senior management on business development progress. What You Bring: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales within the data center or related technology sectors. - Proven track record of successfully driving revenue growth and managing client relationships. - Strong understanding of data center infrastructure and access solutions. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams. - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working within a global organization or multinational company. - Knowledge of security and access control technologies specific to data centers. - MBA or advanced business certification. - Established network within the data center industry.
