Role Overview: As the Manager of Business Development for Data Centers, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence within the data center sector. You will lead strategic initiatives to identify new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, and drive revenue growth by aligning our access solutions with the unique needs of data center customers. What You'll Do: - You will develop and execute business development strategies targeting the data center industry. - You will identify and pursue new sales opportunities to expand our customer base. - You will build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers. - You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to tailor solutions that meet client requirements. - You will analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic planning. - You will prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients. - You will track and report on sales performance metrics and business development activities. - You will represent ASSA ABLOY Americas at industry events and conferences to enhance brand visibility. What You Bring: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales within the data center or related technology sectors. - Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth. - Strong understanding of data center operations and security requirements. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams. - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with access control or security solutions in the data center industry. - Established network of contacts within the data center market. - MBA or advanced degree in a relevant discipline. - Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
