Role Overview: As the Manager of Business Development for Data Centers, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth and expanding our presence within the data center industry. You will lead strategic initiatives, build strong client relationships, and identify new business opportunities to support our continued success in this dynamic market. What You'll Do: - You will develop and execute business development strategies tailored to the data center sector. - You will identify and pursue new sales opportunities to expand our market share. - You will build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and clients. - You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align product offerings with market needs. - You will analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions. - You will lead negotiations and close deals to achieve revenue targets. - You will represent ASSA ABLOY at industry events and conferences to enhance brand visibility. - You will provide regular reports and forecasts to senior management. What You Bring: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales within the data center or related technology sectors. - Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. - Strong understanding of data center infrastructure and security solutions. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams. - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working within the access control or security solutions industry. - Established network of contacts within the data center market. - MBA or advanced business qualification. - Familiarity with global market dynamics and international business development.
