Role Overview: As the Manager of Business Development for Data Center solutions, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence and driving growth within the data center sector. You will lead strategic initiatives, build strong client relationships, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored access solutions that meet the unique needs of data center customers. What You'll Do: - You will identify and pursue new business opportunities within the data center market to drive revenue growth. - You will develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with company objectives. - You will build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and internal teams. - You will collaborate with product development and marketing teams to tailor solutions for data center clients. - You will analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform business strategies. - You will lead negotiations and close deals that maximize profitability and customer satisfaction. - You will provide regular reports and forecasts to senior management on business development progress. - You will represent ASSA ABLOY Americas at industry events and conferences to enhance brand visibility. What You Bring: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales within the data center or related technology sectors. - Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth. - Strong understanding of data center infrastructure and access control solutions. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working within the security or access solutions industry. - Established network of contacts within the data center industry. - Advanced degree or relevant certifications in business development or sales. - Familiarity with global market trends and regulatory requirements affecting data centers.
