Role Overview: As the Manager of Business Development for Data Centers, you will play a pivotal role in expanding ASSA ABLOY's presence in the data center market. You will lead strategic initiatives to identify new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, and drive revenue growth by aligning our innovative access solutions with the unique needs of data center customers. What You'll Do: - You will develop and execute business development strategies tailored to the data center industry. - You will identify and pursue new market opportunities and partnerships to expand our customer base. - You will build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and internal teams. - You will collaborate with product development and marketing teams to align offerings with market demands. - You will analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions. - You will lead negotiations and close deals that drive revenue growth. - You will represent ASSA ABLOY at industry events and conferences to enhance brand visibility. - You will provide regular reports and insights to senior management on business development progress. What You Bring: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably within the data center or technology sectors. - Strong understanding of data center operations and security requirements. - Proven track record of successfully driving business growth and closing complex deals. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working within the access solutions or security industry. - Established network within the data center industry. - Advanced degree or certifications related to business development or data center technologies. - Familiarity with global market dynamics and international business development.
