Join our team and discover why we are a top veteran employer and Certified Great Place to Work™ ASRC Federal Agile Decision Sciences LLC is seeking a Cloud Software Developer with full-stack experience to support a mission-critical application for NASA’s Space Communications and Navigation (SCaN) program. The ideal candidate combines strong cloud development skills with an appreciation for engineering-driven environments, including familiarity with mechanical, aerospace, or systems engineering concepts. Location: Washington DC. Hybrid (2 days in office and 3 days remote) Responsibilities Develop and maintain AWS-native applications using services such as Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, and EC2 Develop modern, responsive front-end interfaces using frameworks such as React Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform within a DevSecOps pipeline Support CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions or AWS CodePipeline Apply systems engineering principles across the software development lifecycle, including alignment with reviews such as PDR and CDR Ensure solutions meet requirements for security, scalability, and performance Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile development environment Document technical designs and contribute to team knowledge sharing Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering backgrounds strongly encouraged) or equivalent experience 3+ years of experience in cloud-native development with AWS Front-end development experience using modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React) Experience with Python is required Experience with Terraform or similar infrastructure automation tools Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Agile development practices U.S. Citizenship required; ability to obtain a Secret clearance Preferred Qualifications Background in aerospace, mechanical, or systems engineering supporting complex or mission-driven systems Familiarity with NASA systems engineering processes and lifecycle reviews (e.g., PDR, CDR) Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, ECS) Knowledge of authentication/authorization frameworks (e.g., OAuth2, Cognito) Experience developing in Rust and/or Go is a plus Experience with automated testing and performance optimization Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills We invest in the lives of our employees, both in and out of the workplace, by providing competitive pay and benefits packages.
