JOB SUMMARY The Fleet Financial Analyst will provide critical analysis to senior management, in support of Company’s goals of fleet optimization and return on capital. This position requires a deep understanding of heavy equipment and truck fleet operations and fleet lifecycle management. ESSENTIAL DUTIES • Prepare and analyze fleet cost and utilization, in establishing fleet optimization strategies to maximize return on capital • Prepare financial models to assess return on capital of fleet investments through discounted cash flow modeling (NPV, IRR) • Prepare and maintain operating dashboards and reports, highlighting key fleet metrics regarding total cost of ownership, maintenance costs & trends, etc. • Support the monthly and annual forecast/budget process and month-end accounting close process for equipment business lines • Partner with operations to identify cost optimization strategies, improve asset utilization, and facilitate preventive maintenance planning of fleet through data-driven insights. • Analyze historical maintenance and repair data to forecast future costs and support capital planning Project future equipment replacement needs and determine the optimal replacement timing for each asset based on cost and performance. • Track and analyze performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide recommendations to enhance fleet performance. • Ensure all accounting and financial activities are in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Company policies and procedures. • Work cross-functionally with other departments within the Company. • Comply with Company and customer policies and procedures. • Support AES zero-incident safety culture and assume personal accountability and responsibility for safe work practices in all projects, activities, and operations. • Other duties as assigned.
