About the Internship Program The Asplundh Summer Internship Program is designed to accelerate your growth and open doors to future career opportunities in the utility and vegetation management industry. Over 11 weeks, you’ll gain hands-on experience, personalized mentorship, and exposure to industry best practice while contributing to projects that make a real impact. You’ll collaborate with supportive managers and peers, participate in professional development sessions, and build connections that last well beyond the summer. Role Overview As an IT Project Management Intern, you will assist in coordinating and managing projects across multiple IT teams, including Infrastructure, Support, Development, and Data Analytics. You will document project requirements, track timelines and deliverables, and facilitate communication between stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes. This role provides exposure to project management methodologies and IT operations, offering valuable experience in driving technology initiatives that support business objectives. Skills Required: • Strong organizational and communication skills. • Familiarity with IT concepts, including cloud computing and networking. • Basic coding knowledge (Java, HTML) and Office 365 proficiency. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Qualifications: • Pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. • Interest in project management and IT operations. • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
