We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager to lead our dispatch, driver, and billing teams while ensuring exceptional customer service. Salary to be determine based on experience. Summary: The Operations Manager oversees daily aggregate hauling operations with a strong focus on customer service, ensuring safe, efficient, and dependable delivery of materials. This role manages dispatch, fleet performance and the accounting team while building strong relationships with quarries, job sites, and construction clients. Experience and Skills Key Responsibilities • Coordinate daily dispatching, load assignments, and delivery schedules to meet customer timelines, material requirements and reduce costs. • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing updates, resolving issues, and ensuring high-quality service. • Work closely with quarries and job sites to confirm load times, special instructions, and delivery expectations. • Lead and support drivers, dispatchers, and the billing team to ensure professional communication and accurate documentation. • Oversee billing workflows, ensuring tickets, invoices, and load data are accurate, timely, and aligned with customer requirements. • Ensure compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations, safety standards, and weight/permit requirements. • Optimize routes, cycle times, and truck utilization to increase efficiency and improve service reliability. • Respond quickly to operational disruptions, including delays, breakdowns, and last-minute customer schedule changes. • Monitor KPIs such as on-time delivery, customer satisfaction, billing accuracy, fleet performance, and revenue per hour. • Supporting the organic growth of sales. • Training the office and field personal. Qualifications: • 3+ year in aggregate trucking, construction hauling, or heavy-duty transport operations. • Strong customer service mindset with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. • Experience leading teams, including dispatch, drivers, or administrative/billing staff. • Knowledge of DOT regulations, weight compliance, and aggregate hauling practices. • Experience with dispatching systems, GPS/telematics, and billing or fleet management software.
