Aspen Dental is hiring for a Manager of Dental Lab Training. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality training to Lab Technicians and Digital Production Technicians across Aspen Dental branded practices. This role supports both in-person and virtual training on dental laboratory processes and technologies to ensure consistent, timely, and quality delivery of dental devices. The position primarily works in Syracuse, NY or Chicago, IL and requires up to 60% travel. Salary: 85,000 - 90,000 / year Key Responsibilities: • Training Delivery: Facilitate on-site and virtual training for lab and clinical staff on workflows, systems, and enhancements. • Communication: Act as the primary contact for all lab training initiatives, ensuring timely updates and issue resolution. • Project Management: Develop and execute training plans with clear timelines, checklists, and task assignments. • Site Readiness: Ensure lab equipment is properly set up and functional for training sessions. • Process Standardization: Enforce Aspen Dental workflows, documentation, and SOPs for consistency. • Content Development: Collaborate with L&D and cross-functional teams to create training materials. • Reporting: Provide regular progress updates to leadership on trainee completion and outcomes. Required Qualifications: • High school graduate or equivalent required • 3+ Years working in a full analog denture lab • Strong knowledge of digital dentistry tools and workflows (e.g., CAD/CAM, 3Shape, Exocad, 3D printing, intraoral scanning). • Proven ability to lead implementation projects while establishing and enforcing clear accountability across teams. • Must pass hands on Aspen Dental Technical Certification • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to facilitate in person trainings as well as virtual trainings • Ability to travel 60% of the time Preferred Qualifications: • 2+ years of experience in dental laboratory training or operations • Graduate in a Dental Technology program • CDT • Experience working in a DSO or multi-location dental practice environment. • Clinical or technical background in dental laboratory technology or restorative workflows. • Experienced user of 3Shape Trios scanning and SprintRay 3D printing technology. • Adaptability in a fast-paced environment Key Competencies: • Accountability & Ownership – Holds learners and individuals responsible for deliverables, timelines, and outcomes. • Cross-Functional Leadership – Coordinates across departments and locations to align goals and resolve obstacles. • Project Execution – Manages details, anticipates challenges, and ensures successful implementation end-to-end. • Operational Standardization – Drives consistency and efficiency across all labs and practice sites. • Training & Change Management – Empowers users through structured training and supports adoption of new technologies. • Quality and Compliance Focus – Maintains high standards of safety, regulatory alignment, and clinical accuracy. • Communication & Influence – Builds strong relationships, sets expectations, and drives performance across diverse teams .
