Description We’re looking for a collaborative, data-driven, creative thought leader with great human and business instincts to work as a Creative Strategy Director for our globally celebrated tech client. As a Creative Strategy Director, you will collaborate across teams and departments to create delightful, one-of-a-kind campaigns, programs, events, and experiences that leave a lasting impression. This position is designed to lead the creative strategy behind some of their highest profile moments and experiences. Find new ways to make their brands and products more tangible, human, trustworthy, enjoyable, and lovable. You’ll work with a range of internal and external partners to craft brand stories and strategies that captivate the hearts and minds of our B2B customers, writing You’ll be the bridge between data and dreams — weaving narratives that resonate deeply. You are a strategic thinker and a collaborative doer who thrives on the cutting edge, with a passion for creative excellence. What you’ll be doing: • Lead strategic thinking and problem-solving for campaigns, providing guidance on breakthrough B2B strategies. • Develop an insight and turn it into a tangible strategy for a big idea, rooted in a business problem. • Write insight-led creative briefs to help inspire breakthrough creative concepts across a wide-range of marketing activities, including campaigns, programs, events, and experiences. • Analyze competitive landscape, campaign performance and data and identify trends (industry and media) and opportunities that could optimize current and future work • Work closely with the creative team and agency partners to help keep their ideas on strategy. • Play an integral role as part of sports / brand partnership work, developing creative strategies around sports platforms and partnerships. • Collaborate closely with the client ECD, distilling complex strategies into very succinct, clear, single-minded creative strategies and ideas. • Help sell our ideas to the business through the quality of your thinking, presentation skills, relationship-building abilities, and passion for products and our vision. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (creative, production, media, product marketing, and executives) and external partners and agencies to take ideas from conception to realization. • Help foster a team culture of creative and strategic thinking and champion creative excellence. Qualifications • 15-20+ years of experience in Creative Strategy or Brand Planner roles at top-tier advertising agencies. • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience. • Experience building a strategy practice/department and establishing the necessary team processes, workflows, tools and templates. • Demonstrated B2B expertise, with a proven ability to apply 'consumer-grade' storytelling to complex B2B/Enterprise audiences. • Mandatory experience in developing creative strategies for major sports platforms and brand partnerships. • Experience leading creative strategy in creative campaigns. • Portfolio samples that demonstrate your ability to distill complex strategies into succinct, clear, single-minded creative ideas and insights. • Experience writing compelling creative briefs and collaborating with creative teams. • Experience working cross-functionally: comfortable and effective at working with designers, writers, producers, marketers, operations, product managers, and executives.Preffered • Experience working on strong, well-known brands and ad campaigns. • Self-motivated, articulate, and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills. • Deep understanding of trends and culture with an understanding of how to link trends and customer knowledge with campaign work and communication strategies. • Ability to analyze data, customer perceptions, product truths, and synthesize into insights and strategic points of view to inform creative development. • Skilled problem solver with a proven ability to find the simplest solution to the most complex problems. • Deep experience with the creative process, and has worked extensively with creative teams to shape the work, not just guide it. • Experience in different strategic disciplines: every brief and project is different and will need experience in creative strategy, media strategy, brand strategy, content strategy, and experience strategy. • Strong executive presence and experience interfacing with senior leaders. • Excels both at working alone and as part of a team.
