Program Manager – Quality Solutions Position Overview This role oversees a portfolio of initiatives designed to elevate quality performance throughout the automotive supply network. The Program Manager is accountable for coordinating cross-industry efforts, guiding assessment programs, supporting long-range quality planning, and delivering high-visibility forums. Success in this position requires a self-directed leader with strong planning and execution skills, the ability to mobilize and guide volunteer contributors, and a practical approach to solving complex industry challenges. The role calls for someone who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on coordination while driving broad engagement and adoption of quality-focused programs. Core Responsibilities • Direct and execute multiple concurrent initiatives tied to automotive Quality advancement • Provide leadership for industry programs, tools, and collaborative working groups • Organize and deliver meetings, assessments, and large-scale industry events • Contribute to program strategy, budgeting, and resource planning • Build strong partnerships with internal teams, suppliers, and external stakeholders • Serve as a representative and subject matter liaison for quality programs across industry forums • Support outreach, promotion, and communications related to programs and events Required Background and Skills • Demonstrated experience managing complex projects or programs • PMP certification preferred • Prior exposure to automotive quality systems or manufacturing environments preferred • Knowledge of core Quality tools, including APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA and SPC • Proven ability to lead volunteer teams, committees, or cross-functional groups through influence rather than authority • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution • 8-12 years of professional experience, or a comparable combination of education and experience • Working proficiency with standard business software, including word processing and spreadsheets • Strong written and verbal communication capabilities • Ability to collaborate effectively with a wide range of audiences, including executives, peers, partners, and vendors
