San Francisco Senior Interior Designer / Architect ASD|SKY San Francisco is seeking a Senior experienced interior designer to focus on commercial interiors for a growing, diverse, and entrepreneurial studio. In this position, you will join a creative, design focused, and collaborative team dedicated to creative problem solving through quality and contextual design. Candidates should have at least 8 years of relative experience. Responsibilities: Generate program documents through client facing meetings Create space plans Develop and execute contextual design stories and concepts Collaborate with team members on furniture and finish selection and construction document production Coordinate consultant and vendor drawings Lead/coordinate construction administration of projects and review of submittals and finish samples Manage client expectations, and coordinate team and consultant communications Generate business opportunity leads for the company Manage various sized teams Knowledge of budget and schedule drivers both internally and externally Participate on multiple project teams simultaneously Requirements: 10+ year of related experience as an interior designer, with a focus on commercial interiors Must be proficient in Revit and InDesign Strong knowledge of the design and documentation process, including FF&E, furniture systems and specifications, color and materials Outstanding graphic presentation skills Willingness to focus on multiple projects in various stages Ability to communicate design ideas and direction quickly Strong leadership, organizational, communication and relationship management skills Working knowledge of Autocad, Sketch-up, and Photoshop Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture or related field Knowledge of local code and permitting requirements Please send your letter of interest, along with your resume and a PDF portfolio sample of work, to hr@asdnet.com.
