Provide support and maintenance for Lawson Financial Suite and ancillary systems, ensuring system efficiency, security, and compliance.
Requires 5+ years of Lawson application experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and experience in finance or operations.
Section 1: Position Summary Provide primary support, both end user and back end system, for Lawson Financial Suite and ancillary applications. Handle incoming support needs to ensure the productivity of Ascensus associates. Assist in defining roadmap of product lines. Key contributor to recovery efforts and auditing activities around the Lawson platform. Key member of project teams driving towards greater efficiency and system updates. Section 2: Job Functions, Essential Duties and Responsibilities Primary support of Financial Systems at Ascensus Provide a single point of contact for all support requests related to the Finance systems ensuring that all requests are logged, resolved and the status communicated back to the originator in a timely manner Responsible for account management and security controls within the Lawson platform and ancillary systems Key technical resource on ancillary systems, including invoice generation solutions, accounts payable invoice document imaging and workflow system, T&E system, etc. Identify opportunities to leverage Lawson for efficiency and productivity gains Work with vendors to define roadmap of Lawson and ancillary systems Key contributor to auditing requirements around financial systems Responsible for Disaster Recovery testing and documentation Responsible for reporting support for business users of Lawson and ancillary software Responsible for protecting, securing, and proper handling of all confidential data held by Ascensus to ensure against unauthorized access, improper transmission, and/or unapproved disclosure of information that could result in harm to Ascensus or our clients. Assist with other tasks and projects as assigned Supervision N/A Section 3: Experience, Skills, Knowledge Requirements Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience Excellent analytical skills Excellent oral and written communication skills including active listening. Asking appropriate questions, clarifying information and writing clear, concise documents. 5+ years’ experience with Lawson Application Suite Strong business skills and experience in finance or operations Experience assisting technical development by acting as a liaison between the technical team and the user community Ability to work effectively independently and with vendor resourcing Experience with reporting tools preferred (i.e. SSRS) We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer Be aware of employment fraud.
