Responsibilities The Virtual Care Program Manager drives the successful implementation and continuous optimization of virtual care initiatives across ambulatory and acute settings. Reporting to the Senior Director of Connected Care & Virtual Care Operations, this role ensures virtual care programs (e.g., Connected Primary Care, On-Demand Care, eConsults, specialty telemedicine) achieve performance targets and advance our care model transformation vision. This position requires close collaboration with clinical, operational, and technology stakeholders to align program delivery with patient, provider, and organizational needs. Establishes program objectives and builds necessary infrastructure, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals. Manages programs from inception to completion, developing comprehensive plans, robust management tools, and insightful reporting mechanisms. Directs cross-functional teams, strategically allocating resources to achieve program milestones and objectives. Proposes program budgets, then actively monitors and adapts financial plans in response to evolving resource needs. Communicates and documents program quality outcomes and progress metrics. Proactively identifies and resolves program-related issues, maintaining momentum towards established goals. Requirements Education: High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred. Additional Preferences Complexity of Work: Success in this role requires a high degree of critical thinking, the ability to make sound judgments independently, and resilience in a demanding, evolving healthcare landscape. Education: Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, public health, or related field (Master’s preferred). Experience: 3–5 years of program or project management experience, ideally in healthcare or digital health. Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives. Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to translate strategy into execution. Experience with telemedicine, virtual care, or healthcare technology is strongly preferred.
