Details • Department: Cardiology - Naab Admitting • Schedule: Monday through Friday 8am - 4pm, no weekends or holidays • Facility: Ascension Medical Group - Clinic • Location: Indianapolis, IN The Electrophysiology (EP) Program Coordinator (RN) coordinates many aspects of both the office and hospital based care of patients under the care of any EP clinician.This will include assisting with coordinating and scheduling of hospital-based EP procedures, facilitating and troubleshooting efficient throughput through the perioperative experience, creating and maintaining patient education material and assisting EP physicians and the cardiovascular team with specific EP needs. Responsibilities Coordinate nursing program activities and resources within clinical specialty or department. • Develop and oversee program, making recommendations and acting as a resource for all nursing staff related to patient care and clinical standards, policies and procedures. Develop and document care plans and therapy programs. • Oversee and ensure plan of care therapy program is implemented as indicated. Ensure necessary resources and/or equipment is obtained as ordered. • May supervise and direct nursing staff. • Coordinate, assemble, and maintain documentation as required. Requirements Licensure / Certification / Registration: • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. • Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Education: • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR required professional licensure at time of hire.
