Schedule Variable shifts, including days and afternoons, with some weekend shifts required. Candidates may work approximately 30 to 40 patients per day, based on hospital needs. Job Description As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you will perform diagnostic procedures using ultrasound waves to examine tissue and body structures, providing high-quality images for interpretation. You will set up and adjust all equipment, implement safety standards, and ensure the proper functioning of ultrasound equipment. Responsibilities Perform routine and complex ultrasound studies and assist in a variety of imaging procedures. Recognize significant structures, artifacts, pathology, and equipment limitations. Ensure prompt submission of high-quality images and documents to PACS. Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly department. Maintain compliance with regulatory agencies. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure High school diploma/GED with a minimum of 2 years of experience, or an Associate's degree within 6 months of hire, or Technical degree required within 6 months of hire. ARDMS certification is required. BLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire. General ultrasound experience is required; vascular certification is not necessary for this position.
